University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) Brand Color Codes

The primary brand colors of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) are gold, white, navy blue and grey. As per their official guide, the original colors were only two – gold and white. These were inspired by the daisy flower which was selected as the official school flower. Blue/navy was added in 1987 to provide visual contrast. In 2018, gray, which was originally a supporting color was added to the primary palette. The sports and athletics teams of UNC Greensboro are the Spartans.
